4TH OF JULY
The beginning of the parade will begin at Marburger Field. They didn’t state where exactly everyone will be staged, so we are going to do what we have done in previous years. When students arrive, they can be dropped off on Hazel Street. There is a parking lot towards the back of Hazel Street where the band truck will hopefully be able to park it. I circled the parking lot on the “drop off location” picture. If the area is blocked off, students may need to be dropped off at the corner of Hazel Street and walk to the parking lot. I have also included the full parade route for anyone wanting to set up in a particular locaton. A couple of reminders for the parade:
- Report time is no later than 2:30pm. I will be arriving at 2:00pm. The parade will begin at 3:00pm.
- Attire is Red, White, and Blue. Come festive!
- Remember to eat/hydrate prior to the event. It is looking to be warm this day.
- Put on sunscreen prior to the parade so you don’t get burnt!
- Instrument cases will be placed on the truck during the parade and can be grabbed at the conclusion of the parade.
- Currently, the forcast is calling for rain during part of the day. I will be monitoring communication from the Borough in regards to this, and if there are and changes, I will reach out through this line of communication.
See you all today!
-Mr. Soose
