Volunteer Week!

Dear Band Parents,

I hope this email finds you and enjoying this beautiful day. As we prepare for the upcoming band season, I am excited to announce that this is “Volunteer Week”! We need dedicated parent volunteers to help make this season a resounding success for our talented musicians.

We are asking to fill all our volunteer spots this week for the season – we will track the sections that fill the highest percentage of parent volunteers throughout the week. Sections will be rewarded during band camp.  If we have 80% of the spots filled, some of the instructors will take a pie to the face!

Our band program has consistently grown stronger over the years, and this would not have been possible without the unwavering support and commitment from parents like you. Your involvement as parent volunteers has always been instrumental in providing the necessary assistance and encouragement to our young musicians, and we are grateful for your past contributions.

This year, we have an array of exciting events and performances lined up, including marching band competitions, concerts, and fundraisers. To ensure the smooth execution of these events and to create a positive and enriching experience for our students, we are seeking your assistance in various capacities, such as: chaperones and Friday night concession help.

In addition to these roles, we kindly request that each band member’s parent volunteer for at least one shift in the concession stand during our events. The concession stand is a vital source of income for our band program, and your support in this area will help us continue to provide excellent opportunities for our musicians.

We understand that everyone has different schedules and commitments, so any amount of time and effort you can spare is greatly appreciated. Your involvement, no matter how small, makes a significant impact on the success of our band program.

Thank you for being an essential part of our band community. Your dedication and support inspire our young musicians to achieve greatness and make our band program truly exceptional.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are looking forward to another fantastic year with your involvement.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Ruth
