- Monday-Colorguard only rehearsal from 6pm-9pm @MHS
- Wednesday-Full ensemble rehearsal from 6pm-9pm @MHS. At the conclusion of this rehearsal, any equipment needed for the 4th of July parade will need loaded onto the truck.
- Thursday(4th of July)-The Mars 4th of July parade will occur on Thursday July 4th at 3pm. Students will be asked to arrive at 2:30pm in Red, White, and Blue attire. The parade will step off at 3:00. It will conclude around 3:30. Students can be dropped off at Marburger Field in Mars, and can be picked up at the Mars Post Office at the conclusion. An aerial view of Marburger Field is attached to this email. The band will organize in the parking lot that is circled, however, due to traffic, students may need dropped off closer to the baseball field on West Arch St.
- Payments and Paperwork-Please make sure that all paperwork is turned in and that any payments that are due be paid. These payments allow us to begin purchasing props, equipment, pay staff, etc.
- Meet the Planets-Added to our calendar is the annual Meet the Planets night(Friday Night Lights). This event is scheduled for Sunday August 18th. This event is the official kickoff celebration for the football, dance, cheer, and marching band seasons! Please mark your calendars. As more information on this event becomes available, we will release it to everyone!
- FamilyID/District Payments-As of July 1st, registration for FamilyID is open. As a reminder, all students need to register their student in FamilyID. All students must also pay the $100 district fee unless your child is free/reduced lunch, in which you will only need to register. The link is: https://students.arbitersports.com/mars-area-school-district-activities. Students will need to register by the first day of band camp(July 29th).
- Supremo’s Card Flyer-One of our fundraisers going on right now is the Supremo’s Card Fundraiser. Please see the attached flyer and SELL THOSE CARDS!!!!
