Good evening everyone! I hope that everyone was able to get some rest on Sunday and enjoyed the eclipse today. First, I wanted to once again congratulate the students for their best weekend of the season as well as their best performance of the season. Words cannot truly describe how proud the staff was of their efforts. It was truly a well deserved end to Mars Indoor Percussion’s 20th anniversary. Also, congratulations to our scholarship winners as well. It was the icing on the cake to an already fantastic weekend! Finally, please see below what will be one of our final updates of the season. - Indoor Banquet-The 2024 Indoor Celebration will be held on Tuesday, April16, beginning at 6 PM, in the Mars Middle School. We will begin the evening with a brief welcome followed by dinner beginning at 6:15. After dinner there will be presentations and awards – the evening will conclude at 9 PM.Price per person is $8. RSVP to attend it MUST be done by April 9. Please submit payment as a misc. expense through Charms or send a check with your student; the amount paid will indicate the number attending.
- Uniform Return-Uniform collection for indoor drumline will occur at the banquet. Please make sure to bring all parts of your uniform(uniform, garment bag, hanger). They will be collected by Mrs. Duff and Mrs. Ostapchenko.
- Season clean up-In the next week or so, and email will be sent out to gather some students to do some season wrap up/clean up. Things like breaking down equipment, folding floors, putting things in storage will need to occur. A seperate email will be sent out for that in the coming day/weeks.
- SRU Drum Day-Please see the attached flyer for a drumming day at Slippery Rock University. Any students interested, please let me know if you sign up so we can provide you with the necessary equipment for that day.
