Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing spring break! It’s hard to believe, but we are already in our last week of the indoor season. Please take note of our weekly update. As always, if you have any questions, please let me know.
1. Tuesday– Rehearsal 6pm-9pm @MHS. Beginning at 8pm, MIP and the Mars Winterguard will be hosting their annual family and friends night. Please feel free to attend and invite others!
2. Thursday– Rehearsal from 6pm-9pm @MHS
3. Saturday(Champs Day!)-Rehearsal from 9am-11am. After rehearsal, students will load the truck. A meal from Mars Farmhouse Cafe will be provided! The menu items will include BBQ pork (sliders if they want), salad, mac n cheese and chips. We will be departing from Mars at 1:00pm to Kiski HS. Mars Indoor Percussion performs at 3:23pm. Please come out and support this wonderful groups of students as they finish out their season! Our arrival back to Mars will probably be later than normal. Please anticipate an arrival time of 11:30-12:00. The truck will need unloaded that evening.
4. Banquet-The 2024 Indoor Celebration will be held on Tuesday, April16, beginning at 6 PM, in the Mars Middle School. We will begin the evening with a brief welcome followed by dinner beginning at 6:15. After dinner there will be presentations and awards – the evening will conclude at 9 PM.Price per person is $8. RSVP to attend it MUST be done by April 9. Please submit payment as a misc. expense through Charms or send a check with your student; the amount paid will indicate the number attending.
