Good evening everyone. Please see the information below regarding weekly updates as well as some other season updates. As always, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
- Monday-Full Rehearsal from 6pm-9pm @MHS. The truck will need unloaded at 5:00 and props will need assembled prior to the start of practice.
- Tuesday-Full Rehearsal from 6pm-9pm @MHS. At the conclusion of rehearsal, the truck will need loaded for Wednesday’s performance at the Butler Band Fesitval.
- Wednesday-This Wednesday is the Butler County Band Festival. Students need to report at 4:30pm in the auditorium parking in uniform bottoms, their blue Mars Band t-shirts, marching shoes, etc. They will put their remaining parts of the uniform on when we arrive to Butler. The busses will depart at 4:45pm. No meal will be provided for this event, so it is suggested that students eat prior to departing. Mars will be performing at roughly 8:00pm that evening. We will arrive back in Mars at roughly 9:45pm that evening. The truck will remain loaded for the football game on Friday.
- Friday-Football game @Kiski. Report time is 4:30pm for a 4:45 departure. Students should wear their show shirts under their uniform.
- Saturday-PIMBA Show @Gateway. Rehearsal will be from 11am-1pm at the Mars Middle School. Unload at 10:15 am. A meal will be provided for the students prior to departing for the show. We will depart from Mars Middle School at 3:15pm. Students need their compression shirt for this performance. Mars performs at 7:15pm!. Estimated report time back to Mars is at 10pm. The truck will need unloaded once we arrive back to Mars. The schedule for this show is attached to this email.
- Friends and Family-The annual Friends and Family performance is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday October 25th at the MAC. This date is subject to change due to soccer playoff schedules whenever they are released. Anticipated time for this is around 8:00pm. For this event, tell family, friends, and community members to come out and watch a fantastic performance! Again, this date is tentative and subject to change.
