Mark your calendars!
The first Mars Band Yard Sale and concession stand/bake sale will be April 30 at 242 Hespenheide Road (The Cannon residence). The event will occur simultaneously with the annual Adams Ridge yard sale, so it is perfect timing for such an adventure. All monies earned on April 30 will help with the general fund and the DISNEY trip!
What are we going to sell?
- We need YOUR donations! We will be accepting gently-used, clean items. Please make sure that all items donated work and have all their pieces (if applicable).
- Please NO clothing or shoes
- Please NO electronics (TV’s, computers, etc. . .)
- Please NO car seats or cribs
- We will accept clean, gently-used furniture
When can I drop my donations off at the Cannons?
- Donation can be dropped off Sunday, April 24 from 12-4 OR Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of that week from 6-8
Do I need to price and tag my donations?
- No. The set-up crew will set the price and tag all items for sale
- Pricing is at the set-up crew’s discretion
What happens if my items do not sell?
- Items that are not sold at the end of the sale will be donated to further charitable organizations including the Vets program or Berkshire Hathaway’s Pink Tag sale on May 7th (proceeds from that go to Glimmer of Hope)
- Any large furniture items that are not sold will need to be picked back up on Sunday, May 1 by 5:00
How can I help?
- We need your yard sale donations!!! Extend the invitation for donations to family or friends!

What will the band members do on the day of the sale?
- Hold advertising signs throughout Adams Ridge
- Play impromptu live music for the shoppers to enjoy
- Help with concession stand
- Help with merchandise as needed
Will you need food donations?
- YES! We will need donations of baked goods, hot dog buns, hot dogs, chips, etc. . .

Will my donations be tax deductible?
- YES! At the time of drop off, you will sign our donation form and we will give you a copy to verify your donations.
How do we know if anyone will want to donate anything to make the day a success?
- Please complete the following survey: YARD SALE SURVEY
- The purpose of the survey is NOT a commitment form nor do you need to list your donations. We only want to make sure we will have donations coming to make our day a success.
