For planning purposes, the first football game is scheduled for, Thursday, September 10. At the school board meeting this past week, the board voted to approved fall sports. This will allow the band to participate in the three home games – we will not be traveling to the away games. At this time, spectators will NOT be permitted; please understand that this is not a district’s decision. Specific information about the first game will be sent next weekend.
Disney
We have received many questions in regards to the trip for February. Even though the trip has been approved, the return plan to school does not allow travel. With the continued uncertainty the decision has been made not to travel in February. We are looking at a possible June travel date; we do not have specific dates at this time. Some things to keep in mind:
• if you decide not to travel, you will receive a refund – please let us know if you would like that option
• if the travel date is after graduation, the district is allowing another group to take students that just graduated
• another deposit is due this week – please hold off with that payment
