Hello Band Families!
I hope that you are enjoying to the start of your summer. We have been hard at work to prepare for the upcoming fall season! One thing that we would like to do is to invite all sections to attend our nightly summer rehearsals every Tuesday from 5 pm-9 pm during the months of June and July. This is something that the percussion and colorguard have been participating in for years, and we wanted to open the door to all members of the marching band!
This is an awesome opportunity for the students to get to know one another, get to know their staff, and to learn a lot all before band camp even begins. Ideally, it would be great for whole sections to attend, but individuals are welcome as well! Typically, sections leaders organize sectionals over the summer to meet with their respective sections. They could now attend these rehearsals instead. These rehearsals, because not on the original schedule, are not mandatory, but are highly encouraged in order to help every student become better prepared for the upcoming season.
