Sponsorship T’s, Clearances, Car washes, & Chick-fil-a

Thank you to the many families that enjoyed a meal at Stack’d yesterday; we are appreciative of local businesses that support the band. At this time you are aware that Mr. Rodgers will not be the marching band director. Dave Soose was approved on Tuesday evening as the marching band director. Dave is a graduate of Mars, has been an assistant band director, and director of the indoor percussion group. I have been in communication with Mr. Rodgers as we plan to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Band T-Shirt Sponsorship
We are looking for any businesses/organizations that would like sponsor the band. Please see the flyer attached for details.

If you would like to serve as a chaperone for the upcoming season you will need to complete and turn in all the documents that was explained in the packet your student received at mini-camp. Board meetings are scheduled for July 16, August 6, and August 13; you must be board approved to serve as a chaperone. In addition to submitting the paperwork, you will need to have your license scanned beginning on August 1. Paperwork submission and license scanning will be done at the Administrative Center, Monday through Thursday during the summer. Parents that are working concessions and/or helping at the competition meals will only need to have your driver license scanned.

Sign Ups
Links will be sent out by the end of the month to volunteer to chaperone, work concessions, and help with the competition meals.

Summer Car Washes
There are spots available for students to sign up to participate at the car washes. We are in need of adults to chaperone for all summer dates. Students and parents can sign up at: https://signup.com/go/OzOQdke

Chick Fil A Receipts
Please save your receipts from the Rt. 228 and Wexford locations; they can be turned into the receipt box in the band room. These two locations give a portion of the receipt totals in food for the students. We will use this to offset the cost of one of the competition meals.
