Hello Band Families,
Thank you for your cooperation this past week with all the location changes – it was quite the week!
Please take a moment to review the schedule for this Homecoming Week:
Monday, October 1
Colorguard Sectional: 5:30-8:30 PM at the High School
Tuesday, October 2
Wind Sectional: 3-5 PM at the High School
Percussion Sectional: 5:30-8:30 PM at the High School
Wednesday, October 3
Full Band Rehearsal: 5:30-8:30 PM at the High School
Friday, October 5
Homecoming Parade and Game
All students are to report to the Mars Bank parking lot in downtown Mars
4:30 PM Report Time (4PM Equipment Truck Student Report)
The parade begins at 5 PM
After the parade students may drive/get rides back to the Middle School; there will be one bus available to transport students as well.
** The Boosters will provide pizza, cookies, and a bottle of water when students arrive at the MS**
Concession workers and chaperones – please report outside the band room for your lanyard at 6 PM
Chaperones please remember to bring 4 dz of cookies to share with the visiting band
Championship T-Shirts
Order forms were sent out through email and Remind on Friday. All orders and money is due by this Friday. Late orders and those without payment will not be sent. Your student may drop off at the orders to the Band Box at the HS or can be given to me on Friday evening.
Band Banquet
Yesterday students received information for the banquet which will be held on Wednesday, November 7. Students that did not ride the bus will receive the information this week; I have attached a copy as well. RSVPs and payment is due by Wednesday, October 24th. If you would like to use money from your child’s individual account please indicate that on the RSVP form.
The next Booster Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 10, beginning at 7 PM in the high school faculty room.
