Hello Band Families!
This is one of the busiest weeks during the season! Place take some time to review the following information and some location and time changes:
Monday, September 18
Wind Sectional 3 PM
Percussion Sectional 5:30 PM
Guard Sectional 5:30 PM
Tuesday, September 19
Full Band Rehearsal 5:30 PM
** Students will practice at the MAC (football stadium)
Wednesday, September 20 – Butler Band Festival
Report time 4:45 PM
** We are in need of 5 chaperones – please sign up at http://signup.com/go/QfHhiYL
Friday, September 21 – Home Football Game
Report Time 6:00 PM
Chaperone, please remember to bring your cookies to share with Highlands (if you could bring an extra dozen it would be appreciated, Highlands has over 150 members)
Saturday, September 22 – Competition Day, Moon
Full Ensemble Practice – 11:30 AM
Parents that have volunteered bottles of water and cookies, please drop them off in the high school cafeteria when you drop off your student.
Competition meal volunteers, please arrive at the high school cafeteria by 1:45 pm
** The meal has changed for Saturday. Students will have a taco bar from Moe’s, and dessert. Please have the students that require another meal see me to get their food. If you child does not like the meal provide, please have them pack.
Chaperones – arrive at 3:00 pm; please see me for your folder and chaperone badge – report to the cafeteria
Mars is scheduled to compete at 7:00 PM
