Hello everyone! Please see this week’s updates as well as some other information moving forward. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
- Tuesday-Full rehearsal from 6pm-9pm @MHS
- Wednesday-Full rehearsal from 6pm-9pm @MHS. The equipment will be loaded at the conclusion of this evening for the upcoming football game and competition.
- Friday-Away game @Armstrong. Students should report to the MHS Auditorium parking lot at 4:30pm with a 4:45 departure. We are leaving 15 minutes earlier than normal as we were told to expect traffic/backups getting into the stadium.
- Saturday-Show Day!!! Rehearsal is from 11am-2pm at the Auxiliary Turf Field. Truck unload will begin at 10:30am. At the conclusion of practice, students will load the truck and be taken back to the Mars Middle School to prepare for the show and eat. A meal will be provided for the students at the middle school as well. We will depart for Gateway at 4:00pm. Mars performs at 7:30pm!.
- Disney Meeting-There is a Disney meeting scheduled for Monday October 17th at 6pm in the Mars HS LGI. This meeting will cover all information regarding the upcoming Disney trip. Students as well as their parents are expected to attend.
- Indoor Meeting/Workshops-A parent information meeting regarding indoor drumline is scheduled for Thursday October 27th at 6pm in the Mars HS LGI. We are still awaiting facility approval, but please plan for this meeting date. This will also be the first workshop that students can attend to gain knowledge/information regarding indoor drumline from staff members. Any parent who has a child interested in the activity is urged to attend.
