Greetings!
I was asked if I could gather a group of musicians to play for this years Memorial Day services Sunday, 5/29 at the Mars VFW.
I was hoping Mars Band members (both current and alumni members are welcome!) to see who would be interested.
Details are as follows:
Tuesday, May 24th, 6:15-~7:15PM – quick music rehearsal at the Mars VFW Social Hall. Please bring a folding music stand if you have one.
Sunday, May 29th, arrive to Mars VFW by 1:15PM.
The services begin at 2PM.
Dress will be khaki shorts or pants, plus a polo shirt or a patriotic t-shirt. Please bring a folding music stand if you have one. The service will last around 1 hour, and food/snacks will be available afterwards for those interested.
Parents are welcomed and encouraged to come to the rehearsal as well as the Memorial Day services.
