MIP Weekly Update–3/28-4/2

Good evening MIP Families! First and foremost, congratulations to all students on a fantastic weekend at the WGI Regional! This weekend, the organization placed higher than it ever has in it’s history(est. 2004), and it is due to all the students hard work and dedication. The staff is beyond proud of how the students performed and presented themselves throughout the whole weekend. I also wanted to throw out a huge thank you to all chaperones/truck drivers/parents involved this weekend. Your help and support is very much appreciated!

As we enter the final week of the season, a few weekly reminders/updates:

At the conclusion of the event, the truck will need loaded in preparation for Saturday.

Saturday: Champs Day!!!! Students will unload the truck at the Middle School at 8:30. Rehearsal will be from 9am-10:45am. We will load busses at 12:15 and then pick up the Winterguard at the Centennial School at 12:20pm. We anticipate leaving Mars at 12:30 to head to Kiski. MIP performs at 3:23.

NA Community Day: The North Allegheny Community is set for Saturday April 16th at 1pm. This is a great opportunity for groups in Western PA to celebrate all of their success’ and watch each others performances. The event should only last 2-3 hours.

Digital Award: Lastly, attached to this email is a digital award that Mars Indoor Percussion received for placing in finals at the Dayton Regional this weekend.
