Hope that your student enjoyed the last two weeks of band camp. I would like to thank the parents that have helped during the summer…uniform fitters, concession cleaning, prop building, car wash helpers – the list goes on and on!
Please take a moment to review the schedule for this week:
BOA Payment:
• Due tomorrow (8/18)
• $115 – students
• $100 – chaperones
• We are still in need of chaperones for this event; we have 5 out of 14 spots filled.
Tuesday – Wind/Percussion Sectional
• Practice @ the HS, 6-9 PM
Wednesday – Full Band
• Practice @ the HS, 6-9 PM
Saturday – Full Band
• Practice @ the HS, 9 AM – 3 PM
• Students will need to pack a lunch
Nothing Bundt Cakes
• Remember to visit the Cranberry Twp. Location this week. When you order mention the band and a portion of the sales will be donated to the band.
A very special thank you to one of our band assistant directors, Kara Lamantia. Tonight, will be her last rehearsal with the band as she will begin a new chapter in her life at Ohio State University. I am sure I can speak for all of us – while we are excited for this new adventure, she will be greatly missed. Thank you, Kara, for all you have done for the program and the impact that you have made on all the students. Good luck, Kara and congratulations!
