I hope that your student enjoyed the first day of band camp.
Today, be sure that your students brings khaki shorts to practice. They will receive their summer band shirt and have time to change for a quick picture for the football programs. Senior members will have individual pictures taken as well. We will still have our regular picture day as scheduled next Friday – more information will follow,
Shoes
I have received some emails regarding students needing new shoes. I have emailed a list of the students that paid for new shoes – they will be measured during camp tomorrow. If your student needs new shoes and their name is not on the list, you will need to send in $40 (payable to the Mars Band Boosters). Please let me know if you have any questions.
Clearances/License Scanning
I received an email yesterday that the district has now decided that parent volunteers for the concession stand will NOT need to get their license scanned. If you are and “Independent Volunteer” or working at competition meals you will still need to scan your license prior to the start of the school year. I apologize for these changes that I just received.
